ANN MCNEEL, Ph.D., CHN
Food Educator & Certified Holistic Nutritionist
Nice to meet you!
My name is Ann McNeel. I am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and passionate foodie who believes in the power of what we put at the end of our fork. I am a former undergraduate adjunct professor and self-professed “educator at heart.”
I hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Georgetown University, an MBA from Fordham University, and a Ph.D. from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York. My doctoral research is focused on how different aspects of packaged foods can psychologically influence our food preferences and consumption.
My nutrition philosophy revolves around promoting real, whole foods with as much colorful variety as possible, while also acknowledging that not everyone likes to cook, wants to cook, or has time to cook. If that sounds like you, then No Kitchen Nutrition is the place for you.
My personal nutrition journey began as an undergrad living in dorms with no access to a kitchen. I quickly learned that there is a place for minimally-processed, nutritious packaged foods in our modern-day lifestyles, and we can most certainly build a nutrient-dense eating plan with little to no time in the kitchen.
Preparing, eating, and sharing delicious and nutritious food with people of all ages brings me great joy both personally and professionally. I hope you find inspiration here at No Kitchen Nutrition!
